Something Small I Learned From Mom
Our parents teach us so many lessons growing up, it's impossible to even list them all out. Most of our daily grooming habits come from what our parents show us – how to wash our hair and floss our teeth, how to use a razor and apply Vaseline when our lips are cracked.
When I stumbled upon this sweet photo of me and my Mom, I remembered how she would wrap my wet hair in a towel on top of my head before I could do it myself. And then, when I could, she showed me how. I felt so "adult" doing it on my own and would walk around this house quite proudly in my pajamas. It's easy to forget how these simple lessons are a part of almost every day when you're grown.
